The ENT ST3 Interview Bootcamp

from 40.00

Next course: February 2018

A unique intensive course with group practice on day one and realistic mock interviews on day two.

The next course will next run in February 2018 (depending on the dates of National Selection).

A two-day intensive course for ENT ST3 interviews. With a maximum of 16 candidates, there is a high tutor-to-candidate ratio and plenty of opportunity for in-depth practice and critique.

Day One: Seminars, small group workshops (four candidates per tutor), feedback in a supportive environment, tips for success, portfolio assessment. Meals, coffee and refreshments included (to be confirmed).

Day Two: Up to two circuits of realistic mock interviews that will include professional medical actors and multiple assessors as well as 'quality controllers' and 'lay representatives' to create a realistic environment. There will be both verbal and written feedback. Packed lunch, coffee and refreshments included.

Accommodation is not included. All tutors on the Friday will have been recently successful at national selection; mock interview assessors will include consultants and post-CCT fellows.

We are offering 16 candidate places for those attending National Selection 2018.

We are also releasing 4 observer places for CT1 doctors wishing to observe selected mock interviews on day two. Observer placement will be unobtrusive and will not interfere with the candidate experience. Observers should note that they will not have access to course materials or tuition. Observers will not be present during feedback to candidates.

Fees will be in the region of £200 for candidates (both days) and £40 for observers (day two only).

Fees will be confirmed when registration opens in winter 2017.

NOTE: If any surplus is generated from our courses, ExcellENT uses this to support ENT education through prizes and grants, and by funding projects such as All trustees, course organisers and tutors are unpaid volunteers.

Refund & Cancellation Policy: Until the early bird deadline, attendees may cancel for a refund, less a 20% administration cost. As this is an annual course, there is no option to defer.

After the early bird deadline no refunds are available unless the attendee can arrange for a replacement paying the same fee. These rules allow us to provide viable courses with high tutor-attendee ratios at a reasonable cost.

If we are forced to cancel the course either because of low uptake or because of circumstances beyond our control, we will contact attendees at the earliest possible time (usually at least four weeks before the course). If we are forced to cancel a course, attendees will be given a full refund but we are not liable for other costs they may have incurred.

Privacy Policy: We will only use your contact details to tell you about other courses or educational opportunities we may have. We will never sell your information to a third party. Your payment details are transmitted securely to the payment processing service and are never revealed to us. Should you wish to unsubscribe from any email list, please email
